The commitment Donald Harradine showed as a founder member of the International Greenkeeper's Association underlined his pretention and intent for the design of high quality golf courses.
He also considered the maintenance of golf courses to be extremely important and that is why he founded the International Greenkeeper's Association in 1969, which he supervised and administered for 16 years with his wife Babette.
He was very keen to ensure that the courses he had created would not suffer from neglect or sub-standard maintenance. He treated his courses like a father and he felt responsible for their continuous quality and development.
