Due to the generous sponsoring of various companies it was possible to play the 2002 tournament on the 18th of September at the Schloss Klingenburg course.
This course was designed by Don Harradine in 1980.

One hundred and three greenkeepers and guests found their way to the Jettingen course on the 17th of September 2002.
Whilst the men immediately went for a practice round the ladies visited the nearby and picturesque town of Augsbrug.
Excellent food and drinks were organized for that evening at the Klosterbraeuhaus in Urserberg. Various speeches and live entertainment were also provided coupled with typical Bavarian specialties.
64 greenkeepers and their guests saw the first flight tee-off at 9.00 am on a well maintained course. The greenkeeper's tournament was won by Steve Thierny whereas Don Harradine's grandson Michael won the guest category. |
